Is there anyplace online that someone can find out a summary of some of the things that went on at the SHA3 conference on Mar 22-23?

Both papers and slides of the presentations are available at csrc.nist.gov/groups/ST/hash/sha-3/Round3/March2012/… It's unclear what else you are asking for. –  Samuel Neves Mar 29 '12 at 12:09
a summary... any particular weaknesses/strengths in any of the candidates pointed out? –  Jason S Mar 29 '12 at 12:17
In addition to Samuel's link, you might refer to the wiki page: ehash.iaik.tugraz.at/wiki/The_SHA-3_Zoo It gets updated almost immediately when there is any worthwhile event. –  Jalaj Mar 29 '12 at 15:42
One aspect I'd be interested in are the results of the "Open Discussion"s. The questions listed in the conference overview are very interesting, but it doesn't say what the participants thought about them. In particular the question in the "SHA-3 Selection" section interest me. –  CodesInChaos Mar 30 '12 at 9:11
Note that questions saying "please give me links to ..." are generally not welcome on Stack Exchange sites. For this, I'm closing this question now. –  Paŭlo Ebermann Apr 15 '12 at 21:10
