Is modern encryption needlessly complicated? in addition to all the good answers: "m (key size) is at least as large as n (message size)". This is a not a problem specific to the OTP. Consider a message with a size of 1GB (e.g. videos) - so the overall size would be at least 2 GB. This is not practical at all. |
