I am a hardware, Software and Systems Engineer. I have a full time job with Raytheon, consult on the side, and have my own corporation for which I have published for the iPhone and iPad, and am currently working on a port of one app to the Android.
2 of the iPhone / iPad apps were spawned from an application I began years ago that was originally made for MacOS X 10.0 (way prior to intel), and windows.
I have also done quite a bit of programming using many other languages. I hope to be able to share whatever I know, and also use this site to learn about things I don't :-)

How to break an arbitrary XOR and Rotation based encryption? Can you further expand your question, what are you XORing, what are you rotating, when and in what order are you performing these operations? |

Difference between encrypting something and hashing something Actually, it is not a random permutation, it is a VERY DETERMINISTIC permutation (normally) based on a random input (i.e. the key). By definition, if it were truly a "random" permutation, it would not be reversible. |
