PBKDF2 and salt @thrylos_7 I'm not sure what you're trying to do - "convert a key for the encryption"? If you want to store a password in such a way that you can check user's passwords but hackers struggle with it use PBKDF2. If you want to encrypt and decrypt I think you need a whole new question. |
