On a related note, I'm aware that combining different hash techniques doesn't mean fewer collisions, and therefore not beneficial.

I wonder how that relates to IIS or Apache, or my load balancer. Or do I misunderstand where the SEED encryption takes place, and its requirements? Is nothing special required serverside?
