I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering in December 2010. I'm interested in pretty much anything technology related and I spend a lot of my spare time (which I have little of) trying out new distributions of Linux/BSD (CrunchBang, Kali/BackTrack, Ubuntu, Manjaro), playing some video games, or writing some code for small projects. I have currently implemented two Android apps (on the market) and am working on a few others.
I worked at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company - Marietta as an intern during the summers of 2009 and 2010. During my first summer, I worked on setting up an integrated development environment for multiple languages including C++ and Ada95. This helped me learn some basic Ada95 and how to link C code with Ada95 code. I also learned a small amount of Visual Basic.
During my second summer, I implemented cross-platform C++ application interfaces for a flight simulator Common Operating Real-time Environment.
I went full-time with Lockheed Martin in January 2011 and have helped develop new features in C++ and Java, learning more Ada and some SQL along the way.
Due to an interest in Computer Security I made a move to Cisco Systems in May 2013 to do R/D for the Advanced Security Initiatives Group. I'm considering going back to school part time to get a Master's in a related topic.
