How big an RSA key is considered secure today? @fgrieu - I more looked at it as a general coverage with reasonable resources as to how attacks are being carried out from a hardware perspective .. not that it's necessarily directly-related to RSA :) |

How big an RSA key is considered secure today? also a consideration - factoring is being done more and more on GPU rather than CPU systems, which offer higher parallelization and shorter crack times (at least on symmetric systems) |
