I'm an engineer, with some focus on signal processing and a bit of control systems. I am also a hobby photographer, and fairly avid programmer. I am the programmer of the Android game Aardvark Joe's Evil Game, and the app Psychic Tester. I am also the author of the blog, The Making of a Ham, and the photographer on PearsonArtPhoto.com.

How should I store passwords that need to be available in plain text? Yes, but there are packet sniffers that one can use, that supposedly security experts have verified. It's still a better model than storing decryptable passwords on your site. |
