comment How secure is the Vigenère cipher in file encryption if you encrypt the password first?
I've taken your "please explain downvoting" out of the question as it kinda gets in the way of the question - and the comment should do it. Unfortunately, there's no requirement on anyone to explain their voting - it's totally anonymous, even from moderators. There have been proposals to require comments and they've been declined - have a look here.

comment Does the Biclique attack on AES pose a credible risk to its security?
Right - I've gone in with a fairly audacious edit - if you don't like it or it isn't what you meant, do feel free to edit/improve it. I have basically taken out the references to all attacks and asked about this specific one, which should help you get the answers you're looking for, I think. If you need help, do feel free to reply to me here, or via a flag, or ask on meta.

A re-jig of the question to better fit the site, asking what I think the OP meant.

Is this the attack you're referring to? If so, a question specifically on that attack would be much more focused, as Gilles says. Underneath your question there is an edit link if you want to revise your question :)

comment Verilog simulation & synthesis of Diffie-Hellman key exchange
Just a friendly note - you don't need to use signatures in posts here - the signature in the bottom left gives you all the signature you need. This is to keep the page relatively clean. For more information have a look at this discussion.
