I noticed that the problem was the fact that I was causing the block size to change. So long as I kept the terms similar sized, it worked.

I tried editing it with HxD, still the same problem that both the file hash to diferent values

So what If the attacker only has cipher text? Is brute force the only option? (He knows nothing about plain text, but knows that Alice is using the technique)
