Oct 23, 2017 at 13:38 comment added tylo This is a terrible idea. Even password-based hash functions require that the password is hard to guess, which Hello just isn't. By assuming the attacker knows what you do and only the password is unknown (Kerckhoff's principle), the application of SHA256 twice and repeating the result a few times do almost nothing. Just because something looks complicated does not mean it has any meaningful security.
