Why most of Lattice based scheme use Montgomery Multiplication algorithm?

    $\begingroup$ Just my 2 cents: Any cryptosystem that uses groups and some kind of multiplication operation probably uses Montgomery. I'd consider Montgomery an implementation detail though. $\endgroup$
