If I know that a differential $\Delta$$X$$\rightarrow$ $\Delta$$Y$ is coming through one cipher with probability $p_1$ and another differential $\Delta$$S$$\rightarrow$ $\Delta$$T$ is coming through another cipher with $p_2$. Now with what probability the $XOR$ of the output differences will go forward ? . Will it be the minimum of the two ?

  • $\begingroup$ Your question is unclear. Coming through with probability $p_i$? What is that probability, is it the probability of the differential? What goes forward? XOR of output differences of what? state your question mathematically precisely. $\endgroup$

  • $\begingroup$ Yes the probabilities of the differentials. xor the output differences namely $\Delta$$Y$ and $\Delta$$T$ $\endgroup$ Nov 15 at 4:20
