Can this kind of block cipher be very secure for certain specific types of plaintext (for instance those having a lot of entropy)?

More precisely, Are there specific situation in which a weaken block cipher can still be used, for instance for certain types of plaintext ?

I wonder in which cases we can use deprecated encryption schemes. In fact I think about 64-bit block ciphers like DES or Blowfish.
